Shaun is Managing Principal & Founder of CMC Development Group, a real estate development and management firm with operations in NYC and Atlanta. Shaun is an established leader in the community development arena, with experience that includes over 20 years in the Real Estate Development and Property Management business as Owner and Developer and has managed a portfolio of more than 1500 residential units.
Over the past 10 years, he has developed and structured over $275 million in 500 rental units, including Low Income Housing Tax Credits, 202 Senior Housing and Luxury Rental, condominium and mixed-use development. Shaun also oversees CMC’s Asset and Property Management activities for which CMC also provides Third Party Management services for private owners and institutions such as Columbia University.
He is also a Board Member of the Bronx Children's Museum, Primary Care Development Corporation National Capital Advisory Board, and National Development Council (NDC) New Markets Tax Credit Advisory Board. In 2022, Shaun was selected as a Growing Diverse Housing Developer program participant by Momentous Capital and Wells Fargo.
In addition, Shaun is the Former Chair of NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg’s Broadband Advisory Committee and Secretary of the Bronx Chamber of Commerce and Bronx Manhattan Realtors North Board of Governors.
Shaun holds a degree in Economics and Business Management from Howard University. He is a graduate of the Columbia University Institute for Non-Profit Management and has served as Alumni Speaker (1997, 1998, & 2007) and Program Advisor. Shaun has also completed the Harvard University Graduate School of Business Executive Education Program.
