Norberto Velazquez

Norberto Velazquez is the Chief Executive Officer of JGV Inc. He is a well-established real estate professional with more than two decades of experience across all facets of the real estate industry. His expertise includes the acquisition, property management, and redevelopment of residential, multifamily, commercial, and mixed-use properties throughout New York City and internationally.

In 2015, Mr. Velazquez graduated from the New York City Department of Housing Preservation and Development (HPD) M/WBE Building Capacity Program, further strengthening his development and operational capabilities.

Mr. Velazquez holds the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) certification from the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). He also holds the Economic Development Finance Professional (EDFP) and Housing Development Finance Professional (HDFP) certifications from Grow America, as well as the Tax Credit Compliance Specialist (TaCCs) certification from Quadel.

Mr. Velazquez is an active member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Housing Council – New York, where he collaborates with industry leaders on housing policy, development trends, and best practices.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Velazquez is actively involved in community service. He currently serves as Vice President of the Executive Board of Samaritans of New York, reflecting his ongoing commitment to civic engagement and nonprofit leadership.
