Enterprise Community Loan Fund
Monica Warren-Jones serves as Director for Strategic Projects with a focus on partnerships and capital deployment on behalf of Enterprise Community Loan Fund investors with specific programmatic priorities for advancing affordable housing supply in multiple markets.
Prior to her current role, she served as the Director of Capital Solutions for the Enterprise DC Mid-Atlantic Office where she supported nonprofit and for- profit partners by providing strategic financing solutions that included debt, equity and new markets tax credits for development and preservation of sustainable housing and community facilities. Ms. Warren-Jones also evaluated eligible nonprofit organizations for receipt of federal capacity building grants that supported increased production of housing and community facilities on behalf of low and moderate income households.
Through her work at Enterprise, she has generated more than $500 million of lending activity and investment activity for the creation and preservation of housing. As Senior Lender, she managed the administration of a $28 million preservation loan portfolio sourced via public and private funds.
Ms. Warren-Jones holds an MPA from Harvard University, an MBA from Boston College, and an undergraduate degree from Howard University. She currently serves as past president of the board of the Housing Association of Nonprofit Developers (“HAND”), serves on the board and member of the finance and audit committee for The Community Builders, Inc. a nationally recognized affordable housing developer, and is a past Vice President of the Capitol Hill Community Foundation, a giving organization that supports arts, education, and social services for residents and students in the Capitol Hill community. She previously served as an elected member of the DC State Board of Education (2010 to 2014) and she is a Notary Public in the District of Columbia.
