Ira Jones-Cimini is the Supervising Project, Underwriting and Design Specialist for the New York State Homes and Community Renewal. In this role, she reviews, analyzes and scores submitted applications in response to the Multifamily Finance 9% LIHTC RFP and manages affordable housing projects from award to completion. Ira is also the Program Manager of the Community Investment Fund (CIF), which finances preservation and new construction of small residential and non-residential projects throughout the state. She has been with the Agency for five years. She has worked in the affordable housing industry for 14 years with community development corporations and for-profit developers. Prior to this, she worked as a project architect for eight years. Ira has a Master of Architecture from the University of Illinois, a Master of Urban Design from Harvard University and a professional certificate of Real Estate Development from NYU Schack Institute of Real Estate.
