
Heather Carter
Heather Carter, daughter of the reputable artist Robert Carter and metalsmith Panchita Carter, is the founder of Carter Fine Art Services (CFAS), specializing in art by artists of color. Immersed in extraordinary art from an early age, Heather developed a lifelong passion that led to CFAS, which focuses on art consultation, curation, and creating community-centered and experiential art experiences. Known as the “Art Matchmaker,” she connects clients with the perfect piece(s) of art for any interest or budget.
She serves on the American Folk Art Museum’s Development Committee, the Heckscher Museum’s Acquisitions Committee, and the Montclair Art Museum’s African American Cultural Committee (AACC) Founders Fellowship Committee, and is a member of MoMA’s Black Arts Council. Heather majored in marketing at the Wharton School, complementing her interest in art with strategic business and leadership experience.
