Ernie Jarvis is a Vice Chairman at Savills North America, a global commercial real estate firm that provides innovative commercial real estate advisory services. He has represented the real estate interests of notable organizations led by people of color such as Urban One and RLJ Lodging Trust. Currently, he is advising the NAACP on its headquarters relocation to Washington, D.C.
Ernie has served in leadership positions of two other publicly traded commercial real estate companies. He was CBRE's Washington, D.C. office leader and an executive of First Potomac Realty Trust, a publicly traded REIT. He was also an Independent Director of Eagle Bank and was listed on the Washington Business Journal's Power 100. Ernie received Washington Business Journal's DEI Champion Award and was an early member of Project REAP's Advisory Board, an organization designed to expose African Americans to careers in commercial real estate.
Recently, Ernie won the Commercial Real Estate Woman's "Gamechanger" award for his advocacy of creating more industry opportunities for women.
