Ekwutozia advises clients on the structuring, development, and marketing of alternative investment products, including hedge funds, fund of funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, liquid alternatives funds, and separately managed accounts.

In both private practice at international law firms and as in-house counsel for a leading asset manager, Ekwutozia provided counsel on all aspects of management company formation, fund formation, structuring and restructuring, business development, and investor relations for domestic and offshore private equity and hedge funds (including co-investment vehicles). As a former Vice President and Assistant General Counsel for J.P. Morgan Asset Management, she gained extensive experience in anticipating the needs of institutional investors and funds and in communicating pertinent analysis.

Ekwutozia is committed to supporting traditionally underrepresented investment managers by expanding access to top-quality legal counsel.
