
Drew McWilliams
Drew McWilliams is a New York-based Director on Greysteel’s National Affordable Housing Team, specializing in affordable housing investment sales and portfolio dispositions nationwide, with a focus on New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, and the broader New England region.
Drew advises institutional owners, developers, and investors on complex transactions involving regulated housing assets. His expertise spans LIHTC, Section 8/HCV, RAD, mixed-income, workforce housing, and HPD regulatory agreements—enabling him to guide clients through intricate program requirements while optimizing capital stack structures and execution strategies.
Prior to joining Greysteel, Drew was an investment sales advisor at Ariel Property Advisors, where he closed over $50 million in property sales across New York City
.
Born and raised in Harlem, Drew is a member of the Greater Harlem Real Estate Board and volunteers with the Real Estate Executive Council (REEC), a professional trade association advancing executives of color across the commercial real estate industry. Through REEC, he regularly speaks to high school and college students about careers in commercial real estate and has served as a speaker at the Diversity in Commercial Real Estate™ Conference.
Drew attended Morgan State University and resides in New Jersey, where he is the proud father of two daughters.
