Amber Summerour is a Director in Corporate Real Estate at Ernst & Young Parthenon. She has spent the past 6+ years at two of the top 4 global consulting firms (Deloitte and EYP), where she has progressed from consultant to Director.
Her work focuses on advising organizations on complex real estate decisions across large-scale portfolios, including portfolio optimization, capital planning, and enterprise transformation initiatives. She has led portfolio-wide analyses and scenario planning efforts, managed capital programs, and supported the development of real estate strategies that align with organizational, financial, and operational priorities.
Amber earned her Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Catholic University of America, where she pursued her real estate license while a college student and has been licensed for over 10 years across the DC, Maryland, and Virginia markets. After graduating, she began her career in construction at Hensel Phelps as a field engineer, gaining hands-on experience in how buildings are delivered and operate.
She later transitioned into occupancy planning and workplace strategy at Jones Lang LaSalle while attending school at night to earn her MBA from George Mason University. She is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and also served as President of the Young Real Estate Council in Washington, DC, where she worked with the board to establish the organization as an official nonprofit.
Today, her work centers on helping organizations align real estate decisions with business priorities and plan for long-term growth or strategic change.
