
Allison Lane
Allison Lane, AIA, NOMA, ASID, NCARB, NCIDQ, LEED AP, WELL AP, is a Senior Associate and Housing Studio Lead at AECOM. Her 16+ years of experience spans award-winning architecture, interior design, and real estate development projects across 7+ million square feet of property, totaling over $6 billion in construction costs across multiple sectors including commercial, residential, industrial, transportation and more.
Allison leads AECOM USA’s first formalized multifamily studio, managing projects for both private developers and public agencies across markets, including the New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA). Recent NYCHA projects include serving as a Design Program Manager for the Comprehensive Modernization updates at multiple locations and the Program Manager for the 2023-2027 Physical Needs Assessment of the Authority’s $78 billion portfolio-wide capital needs.
Allison served as the 2023-2024 President of NYCOBA NOMA, the New York Coalition of Black Architects and the New York Chapter of the National Association of Minority Architects. She is also an active member of the American institute of Architects, New York Building Congress’ Young Professionals Committee, and Professional Women in Construction. Allison earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Architecture from Pratt Institute.
Recent honors include the 2021 Beverly Willis Architecture Foundation Emerging Leaders Fellowship, 2022 Women Builders Council Next Generation Award, 2023 Professional Women in Construction New York 20 under 40 Award, and the 2024 Urban Design Forum Big Swings Global Exchange Housing Fellowship. Allison is currently a 2025-2026 American Institute of Architects Next to Lead Fellow.
