Mr. Hancock is a Vice President responsible for strategic initiatives spanning investment, asset management, and capital raising activities at Artemis. Mr. Hancock returned to Artemis in July 2022 and is based in New York City.

Prior to Artemis, Mr. Hancock worked at JBG Smith and Wall Street Prep. At JBG Smith, Mr. Hancock was responsible for executing digital infrastructure investments as part of the firm’s Smart Cities team.

At Wall Street Prep, Mr. Hancock established the company’s real estate financial modeling practice. Prior to first joining Artemis in 2016, Mr. Hancock worked for Morgan Stanley in the Real Estate Investment Banking group, where he advised real estate companies on M&A and capital raising transactions.

Mr. Hancock earned a BS in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University and a MBA from Harvard Business School as a Dean’s Award Recipient for service to the school and society. Additionally, Mr. Hancock serves on the board of the Release Recovery Foundation, the DE&I advisory board for the Cornell Real Estate Council, and is a member of the Urban Land Institute.
