Mandela Pierre-Kazi is the founder of Pierre-Kazi Development, a real estate development firm focused on urban infill 100% affordable housing projects. The firm was founded with the principle of authenticity and focuses on honoring the cultural heritage of the neighborhoods where its projects are located.

Pierre-Kazi Development is actively constructing a LIHTC project in partnership with US Bank in Inglewood, California, and has a development pipeline of over $500M.

Prior to founding the company, Mandela spent 12 years building his multidisciplinary institutional real estate experience through roles at various firms. This background includes real estate development, investment management, capital markets, and tax credit syndication. He has worked on over $1 billion of real estate transactions in multiple states, and has experience in joint-venture equity structuring, land/building acquisitions, and development of both market-rate residential and affordable housing properties.
