Eliisa Frazier is the Vice President of Impact Capital Initiatives at the Low Income Investment Fund (LIIF), a role she originated to advance the national CDFI’s impact strategy for its capital deployment. Her work includes leading LIIF’s Impact-Risk-Profitability framework (the IRP)—a decision-making framework that elevates an assessment of impact alongside financial risk and return—and developing innovative solutions to increase access to capital for historically under-served communities.
Prior to taking this role, Eliisa held lending positions at LIIF in community facilities, and at Wells Fargo in middle market banking, working with a variety of non-profit, real estate, and commercial and industrial businesses. Additional experience includes publicity at a large publishing house, program management at an educational technology company, and several stints as a volunteer tax preparer with the VITA program.
With both an undergraduate degree in Theater Studies from Yale University and an M.B.A. from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan, Eliisa brings a unique right brain/left brain approach to her work. She uses an artist’s eye for innovation and experimentation to push the boundaries of what’s possible, while applying rigorous problem solving and strategic thinking to drive results and outcomes. She was born and raised in New York City and identifies as biracial, Black, African American, and Finnish.
